Antifouling Coatings Fabricated by Laser Cladding

Laser surface treatment is a very useful technology for the fabrication of functional surfaces. In this study, novel antifouling surfaces are fabricated by laser cladding TC4 and Ni60 mixed materials in various mass ratios on 316L stainless steel substrates. Parametric studies carried out to investigate effects powder parameters performance clad coatings (LCCs). The mechanism LCCs investigated using water contact angle/surface energy measurement, scanning electron microscope (SEM) observation, phase composition analysis via XRD (X-ray diffractometer) testing. experimental results show that with Ni60/TC4 ratio 3/7 has better study. LCC decreases increase speed. Surface topography have significant effect LCCs. order get optimal LCCs, should be optimized.
